Founded and scaled Microsoft's shopping+savings product and platform; growing to 10M+ daily engaged users. Increased Edge browser retention by ~1% while saving billions for users across 30 countries and 80k retailers. Features we pioneered were adopted by Chrome browser, viz. Price tracking, Price History, Coupons, and collections.

Adware Prevention
Bing’s session success jumped 1.8% and search revenue climbed 0.8%. This was a journey from a serendipitous discovery to one of Bing's most successful A/B experiments. Adware were hijacking ads and injecting clickjacking into the user experience. My solution was multi step yet straightforward: let the attack unfold just long enough to observe, detect, undo, and then harden the client experience against repeat attempts. At the time 3.5% of Bing users had some form of adware impact.

Growing up in a remote district of Odisha, India, in a economically challenging environment, in hindsight, was a privilege. It shaped my grit, taught me to live fully in each moment, and fueled a rebellious, dream‑chasing spirit. I was fortunate to be surrounded by some of the finest people I’ve ever known, whose kindness and character continue to inspire me.
These were the years, I evolved as a person and developed a deep interest in computer science. Started walking diagonally off the paved road as I took Dijkstra's shortest-path algorithm to heart. They were also the years I realized just how lucky I was, crossing paths with some of my very first mentors and guides who would shape my journey.
Shipped some of the most impactful products and took on leadership roles. Made some of my biggest mistakes and learnt from them. Developed passion for first principle thinking, craftsmanship and grasped the alchemy of building / growing an exceptional team. Foundational years that shaped my professional direction and philosophy.
These years gave me opportunities that sharpened my zero‑to‑one experience and a deep product instinct. From shipping impactful projects to hiring world‑class talent while scaling teams from 5 to 65. It was during this time that I truly understood the power of a thriving, mission‑driven culture. I also learnt the art of saying no and how doing fewer things with greater focus can create far higher value.
Today, once again, I have the privilege of applying first principles as I innovate in the applied AI space. An opportunity to define a new era of products and interaction. Almost everything has to be reimagined. Except, it remains centered around improving people's everyday lives, like it was when the first wheel was invented. And personally me? I am walking running with curiosity.
